Don't impose Christian attitudes about sex on Muslims
Assalamu alaikum. This may seem a bit random, but I've seen some videos going around about how apparently in Malaysia and other Muslim countries you can buy, sex toys and BDSM paraphernalia in shops. And some Muslims are trying to say that this indicates that Muslim women are becoming corrupted. Look. We're not Christians.
Muslims are not prudish about sex. We're not puritanical about sex. As long as it takes place within the parameters of marriage, it's your business. You do what you like. Terms In of sex toys, women were using things like that back in the time of ibn al Qayyim.
This is nothing new. Whatever a husband and wife wanna do in their bedroom, that's their business. It's not perversion. It's not corruption. What it is is nobody's business.
Look. In Malaysia, you can buy alcohol. You can't if you're a Muslim because you're prohibited. You're not prohibited from buying these things if you're a Muslim because Islam doesn't prohibit it. So don't try to just demonize Muslim women or try to slander Muslim women and say that they're becoming corrupted.
We don't have this kind kind of an attitude about what husband and wife wanna do with each other. Take it easy.
