Womanizing is a punishment

Middle Nation · 19 Aug 2021 · 0:56 · YouTube

The Sahaba used to pray against people who were enemies or rebels against them. And one of the prayers that they used to make was, oh, Allah, may this person be struck by temptation. One example was there was a a a rebel group that was opposed to Sa'id ibn Abi Waqas when he was the governor of Kufa, and Sa'id prayed this prayer against that man. And subsequently, he was struck by temptation to such an extent that whenever he heard about a woman, he would go and pursue her. This lets you know that the concept of womanizing and seeking after women is something that the Sahaba considered a curse.

It's something that they considered a punishment on someone, that they would fall into that kind of a lifestyle. Now we've got people who are promoting it as if it's something good. The Sahaba saw it as a punishment and a loss of masculinity and manhood. Just bear that in mind.
