Men's feminine side

Man's feminine side was removed from him in the form of a rib which Allah extracted from him and from which he created woman. Women are men's feminine side. Women, however, given the nature of their creation, do possess masculine traits. They have a dual nature simply due to being, essentially, a derivative creation. Men are not this way.

If men have traits that are characteristically labeled as feminine, then that is a mischaracterization of those traits. That's why many of these qualities, like empathy or being emotional, which are usually referred to as feminine traits, actually exist to a higher degree in men than in women because they are masculine traits. Yeah. I said it. Men are more empathetic and more emotional than women.

As for empathy, men's empathy is why civilization exists instead of barbarism. It's why someone who doesn't even have the same blood running through their veins as a man can expect to be taken care of and provided for her entire life by him if she's a woman and his wife. It's why men basically work their whole lives and hand over the fruits of their labor to their families. It's why order is established because men's empathy is practical. It's not a gesture.

It's not just a feeling. It solves problems. It's why men fight and die for others. It's why they sacrifice. It's why the human race is still here.

It's why the most insightful and moving works of fiction have been written by men, and the most touching and beautiful music was composed by men. And I could go on and on. As for emotions, women are wrongly characterized as being more emotional than men simply because more often than not their emotions play out in the open and because they more frequently succumb to their emotions. Men's ability to control how they respond to their feelings should not be misconstrued as a lack of feeling. Men's emotions are fathoms deeper than women's.

They last longer and do not dissipate as easily as women's. Eating a tub of ice cream or watching a chick flick or having a good cry with your best friend doesn't make them go away. Men's love, men's hate, men's hurt are like tectonic plates. We don't hold them in place, it can be catastrophic. Qualities that are genuinely characteristic of women, the good and the bad, neuroticism, vanity, insecurity, naivete, agreeableness, passivity, submissiveness, None of these are useful for men to try to cultivate in themselves, and men who do so just become a plague upon society.

Obviously, I'm not saying that the above list is a comprehensive list of qualities of women, but there are a few characteristics that are fairly distinctly feminine. Rather than urging men to get in touch with their feminine side, women would do better by trying to enhance some of the qualities that they inherited from men, like rationality, logic, and self control. Instead, of course, what we see is many women advocating trying to assume characteristics of men that they do not actually naturally possess, that they did not inherit from man, and therefore just try to imitate, such as leadership, aggression, and dominance. And just as when men try to assume distinctly feminine qualities that they do not possess, women who attempt to do this become a plague on society as well. So, no, men do not need to develop a nonexistent feminine side.

Just concentrate on developing the virtues and beneficial characteristics innate in your masculinity.
