When bullies become weak
You know, Europe is increasingly starting to look like Denzel at the end of training day. Remember? When everybody was walking away from him, everyone was turning their back on him. He thought that they had his back. He thought that they were loyal to him.
He thought that they liked him, but actually nobody could stand him. I'm winning anyway. Because Europe thought that countries like Qatar and The UAE and Saudi Arabia were gonna cover them, their energy needs. That all we have to do is snap our fingers, and they will increase supply. They will increase exports.
They'll send us everything we need. No problem. We're allies. Doesn't work that way. Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, all the OPEC countries, they're supplying oil to the world, not just you, not just the West, not just Europe.
The energy minister of Qatar just said, okay. Europe, you may be able to get through this year. You may have enough to get through this year, but next year, what are you gonna do? What are you gonna do next year? We cannot guarantee that we can supply you everything that you need because there's other countries that need oil.
There's other countries that need natural gas, not just you. And those customers matter to us. In fact, those customers matter to us more. Europe wasn't expecting that. Now one of the reasons why the West one of the reasons why Europe and America have supported Israel for so long is because they didn't trust the, obsequiousness of the Arabs.
They didn't trust the subordination of the Muslims in the Middle East. They thought that as soon as they have the ability to be independent, as soon as they have the capacity for autonomy and sovereignty, they will exercise it. We need them to be dependent. We need them to be client states. They didn't trust America and the West didn't trust that the Arab Muslim countries would be reliable client states if they had the option not to be.
If they had the freedom, if they had the power, if they had the sovereignty and the autonomy to not be dependable, reliable, subservient client states that then they wouldn't be. Turns out they were right. Turns out that the Arabs and the Muslims have their own agenda for their own national security, for their own people, and they don't just exist to serve the West. They were right about that. So America and Europe, the West chose to support Israel knowing that Israel would never be independent, knowing that Israel in that region would never be independent, would always be, reliant on Western aid and support.
The miscalculation was that you've decided to make a client state that has almost nothing to offer you in terms of natural resources. They have human resources. Yes. And you can outsource all kinds of research and development, technology, development to Israel. But Israel cannot give you oil.
They can't give you natural gas. They can't support you with natural resources. And the countries that can support you with natural resources, vital natural resources, are the ones that you chose to have, an antagonistic relationship with. You wanted to bully them, and you thought that by bullying them, you could bully them into friendship. Now you're seeing what the situation really is.
Bullying people does not build friendship. It doesn't build loyalty, and bullying nations doesn't build alliances.
