the Sexy Barbarians at the Gate
I just finished watching a two hour Rolo Tomasi video, yes, at high speed playback, in which he featured a meme that appears to be positive about Islam. Here's the meme. Seems positive. Right? Well, the title of the video is dark triad, why evil is sexy.
And it's all about how women are attracted to men who are capable of extreme violence, sadists, inner savages, and how women are attracted to serial killers. So this is the context for his inclusion of Islam. He speculates in that video that Europe allowed Muslim refugees into their countries because women wanted an injection of brutal men into the society because it arouses them. And he reiterated the far right lie that Muslim refugees were rapists. This shows you again the type of Dawah that he's intending for our community to say that true Islam, pure Islam is the ultimate example of red pillism.
He will market his ideology as consistent with the because he has an orientalist bigoted view about Islam. He will then use this misperception about Islam to appeal to young, zealous, ignorant Muslim men who share the same misinterpretations of the deen. You will notice considerable overlap between the Tomas iin and the extremist jihadi types whose education in Islam is dismal, but whose religious fervor is great. These are the same types of people who will, on the one hand, discredit genuine scholars because they hold moderate views. They will dismiss ulama as deviant because they're not hardline Salafis, but on the other hand, have no problem whatsoever seeking knowledge from a beardless kafir who preaches zina.
I've had exchanges with some of the Tomasiin who can somehow justify all of this because of the absence of the Khilafa, because they think that the western secular system undermines men's ability to exercise qawama, therefore, anything goes. They genuinely believe that an Islamic state subjugates women. There's a joke about an Afghani who moves to The UAE to become a taxi driver, and one day he has a fender bender with an Emirati. The taxi driver begins cursing out the Emirati in Pashtou, But then the Emirati responds by cursing him out in Arabic, nothing but profanity. The Afghani becomes immediately ashamed and goes and tells his friend about what happened and says, wow.
He was such a righteous man. I was cursing him out, and he responded by reciting Quran to me. This is the level of knowledge that we're talking about. Have a beard, wear a tob, recite some ayat, and you can easily Islamize the red pill for these people. They barely know the deen any better than Tomasi does.
And, really, it's the same even with the non Muslims who follow him. We're not talking about the brightest of the bunch. He literally spent a significant portion of that podcast talking about why women are attracted to Batman instead of Superman, why they're attracted to Ironman instead of Captain America. Women barely watch superhero movies unless their husband or their boyfriend takes them, But this is the level of Tamasi's discourse. It all comes from the voices in his head.
Knowledgeable Muslims will not follow his ideas, but we have all seen over the past two decades the tremendous damage that can be done to the entire Ummah as a whole by a small but extreme ignorant minority. Any expansion of red pill ideas and the tumassiin within the Muslim community can have potentially disastrous impact. It can create terrible division between men and women, hinder marriages and the creation of Muslim families, and it will spread more and more misunderstanding of our deen, which can eventually lead to an increase in apostasy. We can't let this Shaitanic ideology spread, and we have to increase our efforts to enhance the authentic Islamic knowledge among our young people.
