Not a Reaction Video. Because...why?

Middle Nation · 15 Mar 2022 · 3:39 · YouTube

Welcome to the Middle Nation. This is Shahid Bolson. Because my original channel was and I still sporadically upload to the playlist, addressing issues relating to masculinity and gender relations and so on. A number of people have asked me to respond or react to the latest Daniel Hafikachu video in which he discusses, or debates women's education with a woman, Muslim, who he categorizes as a feminist. So let me just state my opinion plainly on this and trigger warning to anyone who's a fan of Danielle Higuchow.

When I first saw the announcement that this video was gonna come out, it was titled, I think, women's education and Islamic perspective. And my first question was, who's gonna provide the Islamic perspective? Certainly, it's gonna be Daniel. It's a stupid topic. Women's education is not even remotely a controversial issue in the Sharia.

It's not a controversial issue in Islam. And if you are someone who is trying to make it a controversial issue, then you are just announcing to the world your ignorance about Islam, about the sharia, about as blatantly as if you were shooting fireworks out of your ears. One of the best things about switching the focus of my channel is that I no longer have to subject myself to watching this kind of idiotic drivel. And I would strongly advise everyone to just spare yourselves the masochistic exercise of watching these petulant infants constantly whinging about women and blathering the Islamically illiterate red pill alt right talking points of emasculated Christians, middle aged but perpetually adolescent pickup artists and snowflakes who are themselves so pathetically immature, so feeble minded and so easily intimidated that if a woman possesses any traits that might qualify her to be a mother who can raise intelligent and moral children, they perceive her as a menace to society. Honestly, it would be better if you ask me to do a reaction video to a clip of news bloopers or someone falling off of a jet ski than asking me to respond to a Daniel Hakiguchu video.

Anything I might say about it is just going to be ad hominem because that's the appropriate response. If you find anything of value or interest in the views that he belches out over the course of a feature length video in fact, if you're the kind of person who even has that kind of time or who has that much disregard for your own time that you're willing to spend it watching him smirk for two hours, then I don't really think I have anything to say that will resonate with you. And, also, I really don't think that anyone with any sense or background in Islamic knowledge can be swayed by this sort of content. And I think that he and his only appeal to people who are in an already existing noxious echo chamber of self reinforcing stupidity. So let that suffice, I suppose, as my response because this is as much time as I'm willing to spend addressing a matter or a person that is, in my opinion, so completely devoid of substance.
