It's American Impunity, not Hegemony
When you say that the problem is the United Nations and the United Nations is useless, that's kind of like saying that someone who has shackles on their feet is not a very fast runner and and blaming them as as not being a fast runner and not acknowledging the fact that they're shackled, and that that's the reason. You have to look a little bit further than your frustration what's the real cause of this problem. And obviously, if you look, it doesn't take you long to identify what's the corrupting force at the United Nations and what has rendered the United Nations useless to all of the nations of the world except for basically America and Israel and some western countries. It's very easy to identify what's the source of the corruption, what's the source of the problem, and it's very difficult to miss it. The only thing that can cause you to miss it is your own emotion, your own frustration, your own exasperation, your own anger and outrage, and so forth.
Most of the questions that we get are actually all coming from a feeling of helplessness and a feeling of powerlessness against America. The idea that America is so powerful and and that they have we the the word we keep saying is the American hegemony. And it's a it's a feeling that's shared by all of the countries in in the global South, in Africa, Latin America, Asia, a feeling that America has this hegemony. But I think that we need to try to reframe that or or reframe our understanding of American hegemony and refer to it as what it actually is, which is American impunity. That's the source of their power.
It would be like like, again, I know I know, sister Vienne, you box, you fight, or you spar anyway. I also box. I'm a heavyweight, and I have have an undefeated record as a heavyweight boxer. If you and I were to fight, but we had certain peculiar rules to our fight, which is that I'm not allowed to hit you, who would win? Well, obviously, you would win.
The power that you have is based exclusively on the fact that I'm not allowed to hit back, and you're allowed to do whatever you want. Like, you can hit below the belt, you can do a kidney shot, you can do everything. You have all the rules are in your favor, and you'll never get called out. You'll never get a point deducted, so on. And I'm not allowed to even raise my hands.
This is what actually we mean when we say American hegemony. It's America is allowed to do whatever they want. It's not that they can do whatever they want by force and because they have the actual power to do it. It's because they have the impunity to do it. That's the only reason that they have been able to do what they have been doing for the last eight decades.
It's only that reason. It's exclusively that reason, their impunity and their unaccountability. And they secured that for themselves by dominating the United Nations, which is the international body charged with the enforcement of international law. They ensured before they started their, imperial project, which basically started in real force after World War two. They ensured that before they embarked on that project of global domination, they ensured that they could be above the law so that they could never be held accountable.
They could never be called to account, and they would have complete impunity for their actions. They could drop napalm in Vietnam, agent orange in Vietnam. They could bomb, refugees in Korea. They could have covert operations in China, in Myanmar, in Nepal, in The Philippines. They could do all manner of things because they controlled the institution that was charged with enforcing international law so that they could ensure that it would never be enforced against them.
That's the only reason that they've been able to do what they've been able to do. It's not actually a question of real world power. It's only a question of impunity and unaccountability. And once you remove that impunity and unaccountability, they won't be able to act the way they've acted for eight decades. Everyone talks about the military spending, and that means that America has the strongest military.
No. The spending has nothing to do with their power, because the spending is just part of the, military industrial complex mechanism for funneling taxpayer dollars into the private sector. If you reduced from their military spending, how much of it is wasteful spending, meaning they're paying, double, triple, quadruple, or even more for something than it would cost if someone else bought it because they're just price gouging because they know they can because taxpayer dollars are just it's just an endless ATM that never runs out of financing, so they charge whatever they want to charge. But if you were to reduce all of the wasteful spending, if you were to subtract all of the wasteful spending from America's military budget, and then add to that, or subtract even more from that rather, the money that literally goes unaccounted for, that no one can even knows where it went, then you would actually reduce, America's military spending by between 2530%. And if you if you reduce their military spending by 25 to 30%, then America's military budget would be lower than China's.
So there's so many things about our perception of America that are not based on reality. It's not based on the truth, objective, factual information about The United States. We are all dealing with America as if it is a character in a film, as if it's a character in some superhero in a comic book, and not looking at the reality of The United States. And as I said, when you talk about American hegemony, you should be talking about American impunity, because that's the only thing. It's not their power.
The only power that they have is that they have control over the United Nations, And the the fact that they have control over the United Nations is the only reason why that institution is useless. They are the ones who have rendered it useless. It is not by any stretch of the imagination a useless institution. If it was useless, why would America want to dominate it? When have you ever known, America to try to control something that was useless, that had no function?
It's imperative for them to control the United Nations because it gives them impunity and that gives everyone the impression. It gives everyone the impression of American power. But American power isn't the reality. So everyone needs to recalibrate their thinking and try to change their mindset and change their their framework for understanding the world's relationship with The United States, and what's the real reason why America has has had the ability to cause conflicts all over the world and and to prevent justice for their victims at the United Nations. And the solution for that is very, very clear, and that is the invocation of article six and expelling them from that institution so that then they can actually be held accountable, and then you'll see a completely different world.
Wallahi, you will see a completely different world that you thought wasn't even possible when America actually loses the power that is granted to them through the impunity that they have obtained for themselves by the means of their domination of the UN.
