Bare Minimum Physical Ability for Men
If you're out of shape, if you don't have any history of fitness, there's at least three or four things that you need to be able to do as a man. So make these like your goal, your the bar that you need to reach. And from there, you can try to progress in your fitness and overall health. Number one, need to be able to do at least one pull up. You need to be able to lift your body weight off the ground over your head like pulling your body over a fence, pulling your body over a wall, pulling your body out of a hole, whatever.
You need to be able to do at least one push up. You should be able to push your own body weight off of the floor and you should be able to lift and carry your own body weight. These are things that you need to be able to have really basic basic fitness skills that you need to have and abilities as a man to be able to, have your family rely on you in any kind of an emergency or conflict situation. And the last thing, need to be able to run-in case you have to run after someone or away from someone. So work on these things and then from there you can try and progress.
