It's not al-Mu'minuna Qawwamuna 'alal-Mu'minaat

Pay attention to the words that Allah used in the ayah. He did not say He said, All men, all women, everybody. And he didn't say that over only the respectful women, only over the decent women, only over the good women, the ones who treat you right. He said that the righteous women are from the that they're obedient, that they're submissive, that they're righteous and honorable and respectful and all of that. That's the good women.

You're gonna have to deal with some disrespectful women. You're gonna have to deal with some bad women, some indecent women, some women who don't know how to act right. Just because they disrespect you, it doesn't allow you to forfeit your duty. You still have to be, means protective, which means decent, which means responsible overall and any woman, regardless of whether she's nice to you or not, regardless of whether or not you think she deserves it. Allah didn't say only over the women who deserve it.
