Is the West on the Right Path?
Assalamu alaikum. To everyone. This is Shahid Bolson. Welcome to the Middle Nation. My family told me about an acquaintance of hers who has a nine year old daughter.
This is here in the Asia Pacific region. So this nine year old daughter told her mother that it is sexist that women are not allowed to call the Adan. Now, okay, the automatic thing is to think that this represents the spread of feminism in the Muslim Ummah. It's not even that. This is something that can only come about in a nine year old child through habitual, regular, continuous exposure to Western perspectives, Western non Muslim culture, their values, their standards, and so on.
Western popular culture. To have this idea that Islam is supposed to be subject to examination through a Western non Muslim lens rather than vice versa. Western culture is supposed to be examined through the lens of Islam because this represents an acceptance of non Muslim Western intellectual and cultural superiority. When you're taking their values as your gauge for what is correct or sound in Islam, this is a fundamental foundational error in parenting. Look, non Muslims are going to find all sorts of things that they think are wrong and that they disapprove of and they think are unfair about Islam.
They are on the path to Jahannam. All of the things that lead to Jahannam make sense to them. All of the things that lead to Jahannam seem fair and good and right and correct to them. Because that's what Shaitan does. That's what Shaitan said he would do to make the evil seem good.
So if the evil seems good to you, then the good will seem evil. So if your child starts saying things to you that indicates that they are disapproving of something in Islam because it does not adhere to what is being followed by the people who are on the path to Jahannam, then you need to let them know that, yes, that's very true. Islam does not facilitate the way for you to the place where the Kufar are going. How are you gonna respect the intellect and morality of people who can't even find their way out of the hellfire? I think we can all agree that they're not on the right path.
They're not going where we wanna go. Because if they were on the right path and they were calling to the right path, then that would be the path that leads to Jannah. So when they say that we are going the wrong way, is it because we're not interested in going where you're going? If we were trying to go to Jahannam, then, yes, lead the way. The problem with the West isn't so small as to be feminism.
It's not liberalism. It's not red pill. The problem in the West is Kufr. Teach your children.
