Left, Right, or Righteous? Muslim Political Thought should be Unaffiliated & Independent.

According to your terms, I'm not a Democrat, and I'm not a Republican. I'm not left, and I'm not right. I'm not liberal, I'm not conservative. I'm not a a capitalist, and I'm not a socialist. In any system, in any society, Muslims should be independent actors politically.

That's what they should do. Because what we are concerned about as Muslims is justice and morality as defined and articulated and taught in Islam. So no party, no political ideology, no political system can consistently deliver justice nor can it consistently adhere to morality. So any party, any ideology, any system will sometimes come close to justice and will sometimes adopt morally correct policies or positions. So whenever and wherever that happens and whoever may be doing it And whatever their party or their ideology or whatever system that they are doing it in, then I support that and I support them in doing that.

But my support is not for them, it's not for their party or their system or their ideology. My support is for whatever just and moral policy or position is being pursued. And I think that this is the approach that Muslims should take in the West than anywhere else.
