the Ummah is the greenest pasture

Assalamu alaikum everyone. You know, I've made the comparison before that the human race is like a married couple. All men and all women are like a husband and a wife. And the same is true within our ummah. All of the Muslim men and all of the Muslim women, it's like we're one couple.

One husband, one wife. And in any marriage, sometimes both spouses can become ungrateful and unappreciative of each other and start thinking that maybe somebody is better. Maybe I can find somebody better. So this is just a quick message to all of the Muslim men and to all of the Muslim women. There is no greener grass out there than the Muslim ummah.

You're not gonna find a better woman than a Muslim woman. You're not gonna find a better man than a Muslim man. We're the cream of the crop. So appreciate each other, and don't run each other down, and don't be in a situation where every little thing that you see from women annoys you. Every little thing that you see from men annoys you.

Yeah. We all have our bad qualities. Some Muslim men have some bad qualities. Some Muslim women have some bad qualities. But all in all, just like said, if you see something in her that you dislike, you will find another quality that you like and that you cherish, and that's worth holding on to.

Well, that's what we are for each other. That's what we should be for each other. Muslim men and Muslim women. Even if we have quality sometimes that collectively maybe women disliking men or collectively men disliking women, we also have other qualities that make us invaluable to one another. So just try to appreciate each other a bit more, and don't be so hard on each other from the male side or from the female side.
