Question on "Broker Nations" concept

Middle Nation · 11 Apr 2022 · 1:00 · YouTube

So a brother asked this question with regards to the video I made where I discussed the possibility of Muslim countries becoming broker nations. I gave the specific example of Ghana, which has stopped exporting cocoa to Switzerland, and I suggested that a Muslim country could import cocoa from Ghana and then export it to Switzerland. So he's asking, how can we make it attractive for Muslim countries to become that kind of an intermediary? And that's a very good question, and that's something we need to think about. This is just brainstorming here.

It's easier geographically for The UAE to import cocoa than it is for Switzerland. It's probably cheaper. There's many ways that you could incentivize that. But then the other question he asked was, isn't Ghana just gonna make double the money? First of all, Ghana has stopped exporting to, Switzerland.

I don't mind if Ghana makes more money, but if if Europe is buying cocoa from The UAE that UAE has imported from Ghana, they're not going to also buy it from Ghana. They only need so much cocoa. You know what I mean?
