How America identifies

You know, it's not really surprising that this idea would emerge from The United States that, people should be treated and regarded and believed to be whatever they self identify as. Not what they are, but what they self identify as. It's not surprising that this idea would emerge from The United States given the fact that The United States self identifies as morally superior, freedom loving, democratic, and concerned with peace and justice in the world. And they expect the whole world to treat them that way and to regard them that way, to believe that that's what they actually are even though it couldn't be further from the truth.
